Mr. Jeff Davidson
Mr. Jeff Davidson is the CEO. Mr. Davidson has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota and has 22 years of experience in industry and academia. He served as the Executive Director of the Bioprocessing Resource Center, the founder and Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association for 9 years, the founder and publisher of Your World a magazine of biotechnology applications for 12 years, the founder of the Biotechnology Institute (a national biotechnology education nonprofit), as the founder of BioSciEd, Inc. and is currently managing the delivery of business growth services for the IMC.
Dr. James Adair
Dr. James Adair, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Science Officer of the company. Dr. Adair is a key founder of this technology, has published extensively in the area, has been working with nano-particles for over 20 years and holds 7 patents. Dr. Adair is the director of the Particulate Materials Center of Penn State University and is a faculty member in the Materials Research Laboratory.
Dr. Mark Kester
Dr. Mark Kester, Ph.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer. In 1976, Dr. Kester received his B.S. degree in biology and economics from the State University of New York at Suny Brook. He later received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982. Following an initial faculty position at Case Western Reserve University, he moved on to Penn State University in 1998 where he served as interim chair of the Department of Pharmacology.
Dr. Mylisa Parette
Mylisa Parette, BS, MAT, PhD – Research Manager; Dr. Mylisa Parette serves as the Research Manager of Keystone Nano. She earned her BS in biology/chemistry from Towson University, MAT degree in secondary science from Brown University and PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Penn State University. In addition to undergraduate research at Towson University she was named to the dean’s list and earned Academic All-American honors as a member of the womens’ basketball team. Following post-doctoral work at Penn State, she joined the Keystone Nano team to lead laboratory operations.
Ms. Amy Knupp
Amy Knupp, BS – Research Chemist, serves as a Research Chemist at Keystone Nano. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. During her undergraduate work she was awarded dean’s list recognition and also completed internships at Bayer Materials Science and Merck.
Ms. Kari Mitchell
Kari Mitchell, BS – Research Chemist; Kari Mitchell serves as a Research Chemist at Keystone Nano. She earned her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University. In addition to undergraduate research at Oxford University and the University of Paris, she completed an internship and subsequently served as a Research Chemist at Croda, Inc.
